You know the famous thought provoking question of "what came first... The chicken or the egg? Right?"
As a Christian, I believe the chicken came first. Thinking on our creation story, God created man in his own image. He came first, (then woman), then babies.
So let's piggy back off that question and ask another thought provoking question.
What came first the earth or the sun?
Genesis 1:2
The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.
Genesis 1:3 NKJV
