Oct 20, 2021 Onto another critical thinking question for you.
Let’s go back to the sun for a moment.
Have you ever looked at the sun rays?
As a child, I drew a sun on a plain sheet of paper and drew the rays down, did you?
Driving today, I caught these beautiful sun rise photos. (Editing reason were done to cut out the traffic, and to zoom in on the sun rise.)
Questions: What direction are the rays? Have you looked at other sunrises?
Globally: If we are to be between the sun and the moon and spinning around, what are these rays beaming off of then?
Flat Earth: They are beaming off of the firmament.
Judges 9:33a NKJV 33 And it shall be, as soon as the sun is up in the morning, that you shall rise early and rush upon the city;
Judges 14:18a NKJV 18 So the men of the city said to him on the seventh day before the sun went down:
Ecclesiastes 1:5 The sun also rises, and the sun goes down, And hastens to the place where it arose.
Mark 16:2 Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen.
Joshua 10:12-13 NKJV 12 Then Joshua spoke to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel: “Sun, stand still over Gibeon; And Moon, in the Valley of Aijalon.” 13 So the sun stood still, And the moon stopped, Till the people had revenge Upon their enemies. Is this not written in the Book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and did not hasten to go down for about a whole day.
Ok as you can see there are a number of verses that indicate that the sun rises, and it sets. There are several more verses too. But take a few moments to look especially at Joshua 10:12-13 The sun stood still. The moon stopped too. Think about that…. If it stopped, wouldn’t it have had to be moving in the first place??
Oh and one more thing before we end this week’s lessons… Where is the book of Jasher? Where is the Book of Enoch? Just asking!
