Antarctica - Part 2

I found this picture quite interesting.

Part of me wants to say: I am going to leave this right here!

And part of me wants to further say that I have always wanted to show my viewers a map and ask, why are maps always shown vertically? After all if you are going to fool the people you have to show them what you want them to see, right?

So what makes this map any different? I came across this picture and thought, "now, you want to show Antarctica flat across the world?
